Watchmaking movements
The movement is a unit comprising principal elements and mechanisms which combine to create a watch: these elements include the movement-blank, the control components and other fittings (spring, jewels, pivots, pinions, screws, pins etc). The watch is deemed to be "complete" once the movement has been installed in its exterior.
